Mother's Day Note Cards

These are some note cards that I am going to give to my mom tomorrow.  I used Artistic Fern and Large Plaid Pattern stamps from Hero Arts.  Ranger Distress Inks by Tim Holtz, Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutter and Old Olive, Antique Linen, and Frayed Burlap.  I used Ivory note cards, with a olive green mat.  I also distressed the edges of the stamped paper.  These are 4" x 5 1/2" note cards that I purchaced at Hobby Lobby.

Today is Mother's Day, and I had a great day. Went to Outback for lunch and did we wait, yes, but worth it. Yummmy.... Took my mom out on Saturday and went to Red Lobster, yes, again YUMMY... Yea, we eat....

I made my mom a card, and of course she loved it! Made dh mom the same card only in blue and she had to show it to her daughter, so she loved it too! I will post these. Made a dahlia fold for these cards, it was fun making them.

Well of to work tomorrow and clean up the house after. Marsha and Karen are comming over, my new scrap buddies. We have such a great time together, talking, laughing, and of course scrapin!!!

A Full Day

Hi there in blogger land!

Today was a full day. First we went to a craft fair, a local town not too faraway. It was in the yard of a new friend. Looked around and talked to a few people and listened to some music. Went to work, came home and cleaned, the whole family pitched in and got it done. Worked on some Mother's Day cards and a Graduation card for my nephew. It's not quite right. Need to work on it. Made some garlic shrimp for supper and did two loads of laundry. Just finished it up and thought I would post. And the day is over.
